INSTRUCTIONS

This recipe makes one 9-inch Baking pan

 

Notes:

  • If being used for cake pops, smash as soon as the cake is cooled enough to touch in order to keep as much moisture as possible.
  • If this recipe is being used for stacked cakes, wrap with suran wrap as soon as you take it out of the oven to ensure a moist cake.

 

Preheat oven to 325 degrees

Combine and whisk flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt.

Next add cocoa powder carefully to the bowl as it could stain, then whisk together.

In a separate mixing bowl whisk together, eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla til combined.

Combine dry mixture with wet mixture, mixture should be thick. Then add and mix well the hot water.

Spray your baking pans with non- stick cooking spray. Place cake in the oven for 27-30 minutes
